Will the load boards ban me for using this?
No, because ProfitHaul never touches your board account. We don't scrape boards, we don't log in as you, and we don't automate anything inside their apps. You photograph your own screen or forward your own emails, the same as showing a load to a friend and asking what they think. Your subscriptions, your logins, and your standing with the boards stay exactly as they are.
How do you know my costs?
Setup takes about ten minutes: truck payment, insurance, your typical mpg, factoring rate if you use one. Anything you don't know, we start from audited industry baselines (ATRI's cost-per-mile studies) and say so on screen.
Then the loop takes over. Every settled load, with its fuel receipts, actual hours, and actual pay date, nudges the model from "average truck" toward your truck. Within a few weeks the costs in your scores are ones the app learned from your own paperwork.
What happens when the number is wrong?
You'll see it, on purpose. Every load gets a predicted-vs-actual receipt after settlement, so the app's misses are as visible as its hits. Scores also carry a confidence range: a wide range means "rough estimate, thin data," a tight one means the model has earned some trust on that lane.
We'd rather show you an honest range than a confident lie. If the receipts show the model isn't beating your gut, cancel. That's the bet we're making.
Which ELDs do you support?
Samsara first, connected through their official customer-authorized OAuth. You grant access from your own account and can revoke it anytime. Support for more ELD platforms is on the roadmap through their partner programs.
No ELD connection? Everything still works. You enter your hours picture manually and the schedule math runs the same.
I'm leased to a carrier. Is this for me?
The pilot targets owner-operators with their own authority, because you control all your own data and every decision. If you're leased on, the core still helps (cost truth, per-hour scoring, your personal P&L), but your ELD access may sit with the fleet, and settlement structures vary. Write us with your setup and we'll tell you honestly whether it fits yet.
Do you sell my data?
No. Your loads, costs, and lanes train your model and nobody else's. We will never sell your data to brokers, boards, or anyone with an interest in paying you less. If we ever build aggregate benchmarks ("what do trucks like mine earn?"), they'll be opt-in and anonymized, and you'll be asked first, not told after.
Is ProfitHaul a load board? Do you book loads?
Neither. We don't post freight, match freight, broker freight, or take a cut of freight. ProfitHaul is the decision layer that sits on top of wherever you already find loads. You find it, we score it, you book it your way.
